The Hypnosis Way to Lose Weight

Hypnosis is a medium that is used to change unconscious thoughts. It can rapidly alter the way one thinks, feels and behaves.

Hypnosis is a natural state of mind. Actually, it’s the Alpha state of consciousness. We pass through the Alpha state as we fall asleep at night. And we pass through it again as we awaken in the morning. We also enter the Alpha state when we are imagining, daydreaming, and even watching TV.

Now think about this for a second: A weight loss barrier isn’t caused by the body calling out for food, it’s caused by the mind screaming out for it. That’s why hypnosis may help solve this dilemma. It may help you resolve the unconscious issues that are causing you to lose your motivation or sabotage your efforts.

The physical hunger you feel for junk food – your cravings – can’t be controlled through willpower, radical diets or fat blocker pills. The psychology that’s driving your cravings must be changed first. Once your mental habits have been retrained by my hypnotherapy program, healthier eating patterns and a normal appetite may follow.

When you lose your cravings and appetite, you will automatically eat much less, and that may assist you lose your excess weight.

How Many Times Have You Quit Your Diet?

If you are like most people, the answer is probably close to “EVERY TIME I’VE STARTED ONE!!” Think about it: you probably would not be reading this if you were consistently following a healthy eating and exercise plan.

If you lose just 10% of your body weight, studies have shown you can expect

  • Increased energy
  • Lower blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar
  • Fewer aches and pains from the reduced stress on your muscles and joints

Suddenly work becomes more manageable, leisure activities are more fun, physical activity is more comfortable, and it’s easier to have a positive mental outlook.
Losing weight opens the door to a higher quality of life. But here’s the big secret.

We have to train our mind to ENJOY sticking to our plan.

Key Reasons Why We Overeat – Stress and Conditioned Response Eating

Reason # 1: Stress!

Being overweight may affect your relationships, decrease your self-confidence, and make you worry about your future.

This could make you feel stressed out; and before you know it, you find yourself constantly shoving food into your mouth to comfort yourself.

Here’s a shocking fact: Your unconscious thoughts could be causing your stress and sabotaging your weight loss efforts without your knowledge!

Our persistent thoughts spring forth from our unconscious mind. These are the thoughts that constantly pop into our consciousness and we find ourselves automatically thinking about throughout the day.
If the persistent thoughts that keep popping into your head are about your problems, then you build up stress; and as mentioned before, stress makes you crave food in your mouth for comfort.
If your persistent thoughts are about food, then those mental images of food make you crave food in your mouth all the more!

Reason # 2: Conditioned Response Eating
Do you find yourself craving food at specific times? Perhaps you have cravings when watching TV, or working on your computer, or talking on the phone.

Here’s an example:
If you eat when you watch TV, your unconscious will associate the image of food in your hand with the image of the TV. So every time you sit down to watch TV, your unconscious will fill in the missing part of the picture. It will “Flash” an image of the food in your hand (at the unconscious level), and you’ll get a craving and feel a compulsion to eat. This is called a conditioned response.
